Okitsumo provides various kinds of functional paints in order to realize a sustainable society.
Only a few microns coating films are creating a new society.
We set our key issue that is “Environmental protection”, “Making quality products” “Work style reform/Gender equality” and “Connecting with the community”, and we will aim to eco-friendly and human-friendly production by solving these key issues.

We promote 3R on our production activity and effort to reduce amount of waste emission.

1. Development and expansion of products that solve environmental issue
Reduction of Greenhouse Gas by “Heat insulation paint HIP AERO”
“Heat insulation paint HIP AERO” is a paint that saves energy by preventing the dissipation of heat from plant equipment. It is also effective in cold insulation and prevention of condensation, and contributes to extending the life of plant equipment. It is possible to insulate by simply painting even the complicatedly shaped equipment that the conventional insulation materials couldn’t be used. Here are some examples of HIP AERO’s environmental contribution.

Before
Customer's problem
The surface of many steam pipes reached over 80℃. Unable to cover the whole pipes with the insulation materials for their complex shapes and the concern to get burnt in the work of using the materials.

The pipes could get insulated no matter what shapes they were and I’m satisfied with the effect.
The surface temp. has downed 20℃. Now we can touch the surface for several seconds without any burn injury.

Before
Customer's problem
Since the water reserve tank and the boiler facilities were installed in the same area, it caused the water temp. to rise. I had given up the idea of using the heat insulation material because it could cause the fibrous dust from the insulation materials.
After

Significantly decreased the number of cooling procedures in summer: it used to be daily.
Now so far it is only 3 times throughout the season.
It does not cause the fibrous dust either and I’m satisfied with the effect.
2. Appropriate management of chemical substances and provision of the information
We promptly obtain information on hazards and toxicity of raw material in order to comply with environmental law and regulation and manage it appropriately and provide to customers by GHS or SDS etc.

1. Contribution to social and economic development.
“Match marker” is a maker pen for matchmarks which has a superior weather resistance.
It would prevent major accidents of buildings by visually check if the bolts are being loosen or not. It would contribute to building a safe society.
2. Communication with the local community

We hold community studies “hometown studies” collaboration with local elementary schools.
We encourage children to experience wonder of paints to invite curiosity for a leaning.
2．Sponsoring to e-sports
We sponsor e-sports that can be enjoyed regardless of gender, race and disability.
