Boiling Water Resistant Paint for Inside of Tanks and Boilers

Okitsumo's boiling water resistant paint makes full use of its excellent ability when it is used on the insides of tanks and boilers.
It excels in adhesion and corrosion resistance when in boiling water. Blistering and peeling, which used to be a fatal defect, does not appear anymore. The paint forms a protective film that lasts for a long time.
It can endure at least 10,000 hours in boiling water (at 100°C).
It also endured for 100 hours during the salt water spray experiment.
It is durable to steam(100 to 120°C) and protects materials from rust and corrosion.

Please do not paint on the insides of water bottles, bathtubs or food containers.

 Characteristic of Boiling Water Resistance

Water is a very stable chemical compound. However, active molecule movements start suddenly after water is heated up to about 100°C, which is its boiling point. Water molecules activated by this heat energy tends to produce a by-product by reacting with and forming other ions which cause corrosion if they touch a metal surface. And if OH- or any materials contained in the coating film start decomposition, they react to each other and end up destroying the film gradually. Moreover, a part of vapor intrudes directly into the film and destroys them. As a result, the film produces blisters or peelings. Okitsumo boiling water resistant paint has a characteristic to endure in those conditions.
